2008 Diamond Award for Outstanding Voluntary Programs

Sportworks Northwest, Inc.
Woodinville

Three vanpools with 19 participants to Woodinville is the result of the “Right to Ride” vanpool program implemented two years ago at this company of 60 employees. The commitment to reducing drive-alone trips is evident in the results. Along with other innovative products, Sportworks Northwest has “Bike-Rack-for-Buses” as a primary product in what they call their “Multi-Modal line,” which helps make bicycling more accessible to more people. Congratulations!

*Some definitions: An "ETC" is the staff-level employee transportation coordinator responsible for the daily administration of the transportation program. "SOV" stands for single-occupant vehicle, and "CTR" for commute trip reduction.
