Group Health has over 4,500 employees at five CTR-affected worksites throughout King County. Management fully supports trip reduction programs, and in the words of the ETC Jon Weeden, "Group Health has always been committed to promoting the health of our communities, which includes conducting our business in a way that supports important policy initiatives." Group Health is a member of the Seattle Climate Partnership and is committed to assessing and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Group Health "Commute Solutions" staff frequently reminds all the employees of the benefits of sharing a ride or taking a bus to work. Staff is friendly and very determined to provide personalized service to all Group Health employees. In 2008, Group Health made an organizational transition from supporting drive-alone commuting to giving enhanced support for all alternative commute options in order to be aligned with the values of sustainability. Group Health is a presenting sponsor for Bike to Work Month during May. "Exceptional, committed and innovative" describes Group Health's transportation program.
